The Swarovski STS-80 HD 80mm Spotting Scope (Straight Viewing, Requires Eyepiece) features extra-low dispersion (ED) fluorine HD glass specifically designed to produce bright, clear views with accurate colour reproduction. To further improve colour, clarity, resolution and contrast, the front glass elements feature SWARODUR and SWAROCLEAN optical coatings that maximise light transmission while making them scratch resistant and easy to clean.
Featuring a moderate 80mm objective make this scope is ideal for detailed observations over long to medium distances, more so when coupled with one of the optional zoom eyepieces. The front of the scope features threads accepting filters to enhance your view, such as ND and CPL filters. For mounting, the tripod collar has a 1/4"-20 socket on the bottom of the shoe and a rotating collar for precise eyepiece placement relative to the mounting system.
The Swarovski STS-80 HD 80mm Spotting Scope (Straight Viewing, Requires Eyepiece) is made from durable and lightweight aluminium alloy, and is nitrogen-filled along with O-Ring sealed to make it waterproof and resistant to internal fogging.
