Total control over the I/O ports can be achieved using the buttons, knob, or via the Ethernet connection to automate functions. On the front panel, you will find a 12G-SDI input, a 12G-SDI output, and a USB-C output that override the functions of the back panel when you route new sources on the fly.

The Blackmagic Design Videohub Mini 8x4 12G Router features a clean switch that is programmed to the router's outputs. This enables you to route a specific source to a single output while switching that same source as a direct feed to other outputs. Dedicated reference I/O ports allow the clean switch function to lock to a Blackburst or Tri-sync signal.
